Why Must There Be The Talking?

I'm not really a fan of customer/employees conversations.  If the workers get too chatty, I'll stop going for awhile and frequent a different place.  There's just no nice way to say "Shut the fuck up", so I simply go MIA... seems better. I'm just the type of gal who has to be in the mood for shop chat... and sadly, you'd have to be a mind reader to know when it's the right time.  I'm also not a fan of being interrupted while I'm speaking.  There's no better place to enjoy evils than at the local Starbucks. It's typical for me to have 2 separate orders because I'm always getting for my sister too.  Let me give you a typical drive-thru conversation. "Welcome to Starbucks would you like to try our nonfat iced hot mocha chai rapsberry latte frappuccino muffin drink?" *GOD!!!* "No, thank you. I have 2 separate orders." Starbucks' New Frappuccino Campaign

I went to Starbucks yesterday and noticed they were re-doing the store. Adding new merchandise, etc. and putting up all these window clings and signs for "Frappuccino However-You-Want-It". Seems to be a big deal, so does this mean I don't have to pay extra for espresso or syrup? Nope. They just wasted all this money and paper to tell me what I already knew. The only thing different is they've changed their mix, so you can now, again, get any type of milk in it... but you still have to pay extra. What's the big deal? Besides, I didn't need a sign for that, since I'm observant and noticed [last week? Week before?] that the machine they kept the mix in now says "Whole Milk" or "Skim Milk"... not to mention the swarmy sellsman who works there told me yesterday. It just makes me wonder if people really are that blind or just don't know how to ask a question. I know when I'm out people will ask what my drink is [because the ra...
