Jem & The Holograms was a cartoon series that ran from 1985 - 1988. Jem, aka Jerrica Brennon and her fabulous glam rock band, The Holograms, who with help of her super computer, in the form of a woman, Synergy, become the best band in the universe ever! ...or something. And we can't forget their rivals, The Misfits... who always reminded me of the girl version of Mötley Crüe. I loved this show when I was a kid. I, unlike the rest of the girls I knew, liked both the good Holograms and the evil Misfits. This show also scarred me for life. In one episode, there is a flashback scene, where Jem had a fight with her mom and stormed out without saying goodbye. Jem later finds out her mom died in a horrible accident.
