Where the fuck did the Choctaws go...?

Image
Had a free trial of Prime recently.  I actually detest Prime.  For one, there's never really anything on there (though now I'm sad to know that Supernatural is on there, but I still won't be keeping Prime), but also that my telly, which is fairly new (three years?) is a Fire TV, so is Prime, but won't actually play Prime or Freevee (or whichever is the free app that says it's now on Prime to watch for free).   Anyway, not really the point.  The point is that on our telly in the den, it'll play just fine & I saw that they had Sinners, so waited for my sister to get home from house sitting so we could watch it together. I was... not impressed.   I think that it was because it was hyped up so much, so without that it might have been a pretty OK film, but with the hype it fell flat? Besides just general hype, I was sorta led to believe that The Choctaw Vampire Hunters would have a much larger presence in the film.

The Girl Talks...

Image
I'm talkin' girl talk here.  I may spend a lot of time in guy land, & find relative comfort there, but I do come standard with the girl parts, so...  inevitable things occur.  I'm not even certain if I'm all woman really.  No... I'm talkin' part android or demon or something.  Simply because I come at things in a very unlady like & different fashion basically.  But let's just dive in, shall we?  Yes, lets... So... the change is a-happenin'. What is it? Some unknown stage of peri-menopause, because Menopause is when you're actually done with the change? Yeah?  I also say unknown, because in that true android/demon fashion, I don't see lady doctors.   I don't know women who haven't gone to a gynecologist at least once.  Even if it's not for contraceptives or getting pregnant, but simply because it's what you do.  Basically for me, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.  Besides the fact that I don't have health insur...

Liebster Blog Award

Image
Yesterday I woke up to the tweet, "I've nominated you for a Liebster award!"  Needless to say, I was intrigued and rather excited; "An award?!  For me?!?!"  Then my thoughts led me to, "Is liebster like liebling?  Surely I can't be her sweetheart/dearest."   Turns out, in a sense, that I can.  While there is no actual award (unless you want to count that picture up there) and no one really knows how it started (the closest I could get was a girl who said she found the earliest mention from a German blogger), the purpose seems to merely be showing love.  Promoting blogs who have fewer than 200 followers (Hello! My 2 followers!) and in essence, nodding towards them some recognition for their work and effort.  Which is basically saying, "I LOVE this blog (who also happens to have few followers)!"  The sentiment is lovely and it helps to get to know your fellow bloggers, since there are questions to be asked/answered.  I have b...
